International Cooperation Programmes
Business cooperation is a competitive strategy which offers small and
medium-sized enterprises the opportunity to participate in projects which
would be beyond their individual capabilities and to do business in markets
which they would otherwise find difficult to access on their own.
This has led the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia to create the Business
Cooperation Exchange.
This initiative is mainly aimed at three types of companies:
1.- Manufacturers and service companies.
2.- Wholesalers, Distributors and Haulage Contractors
3.- Agents / Sales Representatives.
The Chamber of Commerce of Valencia’s Cooperation Exchange offers companies
the opportunity to establish cooperation agreements of a commercial, technical
or financial nature with other companies at home and abroad.
Cooperation proposals are promoted through the networks created for this
purpose by the European Commission (Euro Info Centres and Coopecos). The
network covers over 80 countries and has 800 representatives in Chambers
of Commerce, Business Associations, Consultancy Companies, etc.
By registering with the Cooperation Exchange, companies receive offers
and requests from concerns in other countries which are also looking for
international partners.
To register, please download the registration form (in PDF format).
Business Meetings
In addition, the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia’s European Business Information
Centre coordinates the involvement of Spanish companies at various business
cooperation meetings sponsored by the European Union.
The main aim of these encounters is to increase contacts between businesses
from EU countries and companies from other geographical areas (especially
SMEs) in order to promote cooperation.
The Chamber of Commerce of Valencia helps Valencian companies to participate
in the following European programmes:
-Al-Partenariat
- Al-Invest
- European / Latin American Weeks
- Asia-Invest.
